Ariel announces the latest version of the Ace – the Ariel Ace R
The Ariel Ace R is easily recognizable by the carbon bodywork, black pearl frame and the gold anodizing. The Ace R is a Limited Edition motorcycle and only 10 units will be made and sold worldwide.
Ariel had launched the Ace in 2014 and went on to produce over 50 motorcycles. Ace Motorcycles has gained wealth of experience since the launch. The company has further developed the Ace with their partners. These developments show that the new chassis can accommodate a considerable power increase. The new chassis retains the easy to ride and flexible road bike character as with the original. The Ace R brings this accumulated knowledge together in a very special and unique motorcycle.
Ariel Ace R Engine Performance
The latest V4 engine has been developed by Ariel together with Mark ‘Brains’ Woodage of MJW Specialists. The engine produces 201BHP and 143 nm of torque. The engine delivers outstanding performance throughout the rev range.
Mark Woodage is the Technical Director for the Honda SIC Moto3 Racing Team, in MotoGP. He has built motorcycles for Domestic and World Championships since 1990. To his credit, he has three British Championships, six Isle of Man TT wins and numerous International race wins. He also finished as a runner up in the World Supersport Championship twice.
“Every Ace is unique to its owner, but we wanted to make a truly special bike that built on knowledge gained from other ariel Limited Editions such as the Atom V8 and Mugen”, said Tom Siebert.
After 17 years slowly building Ariel to where it is today, Ariel understands low volume vehicles and the customers that buy them. The company believes that the extra performance and their usual scrupulous attention to detail will be very appealing to the customers on this special motorcycle.
