Piaggio group launched its second Motoplex in Hyderabad recently.
Piaggio Motoplex is an all-in-one store for the company’s scooters and motorcycle brands under one roof. In India, Piaggio sells scooters from Vespa and Aprilia and Moto Guzzi motorcycles. The company had opened its first Motoplex in Pune last year (2015) in November. The concept store is a popular and innovative globally and bringing it to India means that the India market is an important one.
Piaggio Motoplex, Hyderabad
M/S Shrey Automotive owns the Hyderabad store and is the first dealership owned concept store for the company. The store was inaugurated by Tollywood heartthrob, Naga Chaitanya while Mr. Stefano Pelle, Managing Director and CEO – Piaggio India was also there. The concept store is huge and is spread over 4,134 sq. ft. located at Jubilee Hills in the Hyderabad city.
The other cities where the Piaggio concept store exists include Milan, New York City, Shanghai and Beijing. It is convenient yet a dream at the same time, for two wheeler enthusiasts to visit one store and checkout 3 brands at once. Piaggio wants that the brand enthusiast should get an immersive experience where they discover the brands essence, lineage of the brands including Vespa, Aprilia and MotoGuzzi on display. These concept stores will offer motorcyclists a platform to meet fellow riders and share their biking experience from ride stories to performance upgrades.
Aprilia is a brand popularly known for their super sport RSV4 motorcycle. Aprilia as a brand was born for race circuits and has 294 Grand Prix race wins and 54 world titles in different categories and different race types.
About Moto Guzzi
Moto Guzzi happens to be the oldest brand for Piaggio brand today. It was established in 1921 but acquired by the company only in 2004. The remarkable thing about Moto Guzzi is the continuous operation from the same factory for the past 95 years. The factory in Mandello del Lario also has a fully stocked museum under the “Eagle brand”.
Vespa is the most admired and stylish two wheeler brand across the world since 1946. It has enjoyed great success and has produced approximately 18 million two wheelers since then. Recently, Vespa had unveiled the Georgio Armani version as well that was dressed in all black.
